ALNOR INDUSTRIES is pleased to announce its merger agreement with Electronic Distributors International Inc.
Alnor Industries has signed a definitive agreement to merge all of its assets and operations with Electronic Distributors International (“EDI”).
Alnor, founded by Al Bauer and more recently operated along side his son Christian Bauer, has been proudly catering to the Non- Ferrous and Ferrous industries in the GTA since 1996. They have a very solid and strong reputation among their consumers and suppliers that have been dealing with them through the decades.
Alnor’s mission, from the beginning, has been to deliver value to our customers through hard work, knowledgeable staff, and practical solutions in our field. We understand our customers’ demands and Alnor has been committed to offering solutions that increase revenue through value, optimizing their scrap handling and offering a transparent and personal approach to their dealings.
That being said we have found an ideal partner in EDI. We are excited about entering the future along side them because they share the same values and ideals as Alnor.
We will now be catering to the Specialty Alloys market on a global scale. We have set our sights on becoming a leader in the field of specialty alloy recycling. Our reach and resources, along with our core competencies will allow us to further expand our specialty alloy division on a much larger scale with this relationship.
EDI is a leader in the Canadian electronics and metals recycling marketplace with a focus on B2B (Business to Business). Strategically located next to the OPP Headquarters on one side and the Reginal Headquarters on our other side in Orillia, Ontario, EDI is one of Canada’s most certified and secure electronics recyclers. EDI is certified to R2:2013, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 as well holds security clearance for Controlled Goods and membership in i-Sigma data security. EDI is one of the largest wholesalers of printed circuit board scrap and telecom equipment in Canada as well as processing significant amounts of specially alloys and none ferrous metals yearly. EDI has developed an international network of suppliers and consumers throughout Canada, United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and the Pan-Pacific Rim.
The merger with EDI will further strengthen our position in the marketplace. For the most part, this transition will be seamless to our customers and vendors. EDI-Brampton will continue to provide our clients with exceptional service and the partnership is expected to result in greater efficiencies and significantly enhance our service capabilities in the fields of metal recycling, end-of-life electronics recycling and asset management, as we prepare to embrace the circular economy of tomorrow.
We will work closely with our partners, suppliers, consumers and employees to ensure that the integration process of EDI-Brampton will be as seamless as possible. The integration of both companies has started and will continue over the next few months. Our customers will continue to receive the same high quality service which they have come to expect over the years.
With our enhanced network, dedicated employees and now the additional support of EDI, we will always be nearby to support you; whenever and wherever you need us.
Sincerely,
